One of the things that's hard to come by in Tokyo is decent American-style breakfast or brunch. One of my favorite things to do back in the States was to go out to brunch on Sundays and feast while throwing back a few bloody marys. In Tokyo back in the day, there was Good, Honest, Grub, but first we had to schlep to Ebisu, then wait in line or (later after they moved) to Harajuku... then wait in line. Nowadays there's Bills, but breakfast until 11 am ain't what I call brunch. There was a place called Beacon in Omotesando that was/is part of the TY Harbor group of restaurants, but it's been rebranded and they don't do breakfast anymore.
From a little searching around, I've found that there seem to be more options these days than when I was still looking, but still few in my neck of the woods.
Searching around for something unrelated (miso-making information), I came upon a place called Egg. At first I dismissed it because it's located in Ikebukuro, which is a little too far for me to go just for breakfast. Thankfully, they have a branch near Baji Koen and it's probably less than a 15-minute bike ride from us.
Gonna have to get my brunch on some time soon.
