Villa Barberino - Reasonable prices and extremely comfortable beds. A welcome refuge to return to after a day of shopping and the autostrada.
Clarendon Square - Charming bed and breakfast in Boston's South End. Misa said she wanted to live there. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the rooftop hot tub, but next time. Be advised that they normally only allow multiple night reservations. Also, the parking spaces are small and in an alley, making them, for us, the automotive equivalent of a monkey trap. Definitely opt for one of the local public garages.
Ma peche - Met Dan-O here for dinner. Very good food served up in a cafeteria-style atmosphere. Have the seven spice sour cocktail. It was awesome... twice. <15 west 56th street, new york, ny >
Le Bernardin - Great food. An army of knowledgeable staff (there were two roving sommeliers). Ripert came out briefly from the kitchen towards the end of the night.
The south end is the Soho of Boston. Zeljka and I lived there for a few years. Great restaurants and cool boutique shops. We miss it greatly. You used to get your hair cut there as well if I remember correctly? Cheers D

Good memory. I used to get my hair cut at a place called Cramer's, which was on the back side of Copley Place. Introduced to it by "the Black George Michael."
One of the weird things about that neighborhood is how quickly you can pass into the "wrong side of the tracks." The church for the wedding was a couple of miles away on Tremont and it looked like a post-apocalyptic movie set.
